Specifications

The control panel must:

  • be installed at a maximum distance of 8 feet from an electrical outlet. Otherwise, you will need to extend the cable wire.
  • be connected to Internet via Wi-Fi or via Ethernet cable to enable remote control and remote notifications
    • If using a multi band router, the Wi-Fi network must have different SSID for the broadcast frequencies (2.4GHz and 5GHz)
    • The SSID and password must not contain special characters
    • Connected to a router with B or G protocols enabled
  • be a maximum distance of 60 feet cable length from the valve.
  • have a space behind or below to install the valve controller box that is used to bridge the control panel and the valves
  • be in a good RF (Radio Frequency) environment. Try to avoid placing mirrors, reinforced concrete walls, metal plates, etc., between the panel and sensors (direct line of sight) for optimum RF performance
